Please note the date has changed to Feb. 22, 2018. Marloes Vooijs will present her research, in which she first provides more insight in the rationale of supporting work in people with a chronic disease. She also provides an overview of which aspects and interventions can influence individual’s work participation. Focus of her presentation lies on the role that people with a chronic disease can have in their participation in their work.

  •  The rationale of the focus on enhancing work participation of people with a chronic disease;
  •  The solutions that people with a chronic disease use to retain or return to work;
  •  The support that people with a chronic disease need to be able to find and use these solutions.​

Marloes Vooijs is a researcher at the Coronel Institute of Occupational Health, Academic Medical Center, Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Her research focuses on supporting work participation of people with a chronic disease. The aim of her research project is to support work retention and return to work, by providing occupational health professionals with information to optimize their guidance and assessment of individuals with a chronic disease. ​
