Now Closed : Late-Breaking Academic Posters 2017

The late-breaking abstract submissions for poster presentation at the Safe, Healthy, and Productive Workplaces Conference is now closed

Abstracts are considered "late-breaking" if the works meet the following criteria:

  • The research must be new and of sufficient scientific importance to merit special consideration after the standard abstract deadline.
  • Late-breaking abstracts must not have been presented, accepted for presentation, or published in any other scientific venue.

Deadline For Submission was March 26, 2017

How to Submit

  1. Prepare your abstract with the following information: 
    • Title of Abstract
    • Body of Abstract ,maximum of 4000 characters, should include the following information:
      • Research Question/Purpose
      • Methods
      • Results
      • Conclusions
      • Limitations
      • Key Messages
  2. Create an account through our online abstract submission site. 
  3. Now you can login to the site using the email and password you just created.
  4. Once logged in as an Author, you can choose "Create a new Submission" from the top left and choose "Scientific Abstracts". Complete Title and copy and paste your abstract into the Abstract field. Next add additional authors and then select 1 primary subject area and up to 3 secondary areas related to your abstract.   5. You will receive feedback on the status of your abstractby April 10, 2017.
  6. All approved presenting authors are required to register for the conference before April 15, 2017.
    • Early-bird registration rates will be in effect until April 15, 2017.

Review Criteria

All abstracts submitted are blinded and reviewed by a minimum of 2 reviewers

  • Appropriate and relevant to conference
  • Useful knowledge and direction
  • New or unique material
  • Purpose and objectives clearly stated
  • Methods / data collection clear and appropriate
  • Results clearly stated
  • Conclusions appropriate with research design and findings
  • Limitations noted
  • Any perceived Conflict of Interest that warrants concern
