As Education and Communications Specialist at WWDPI, Lisa is responsible for researching academic publications, booking speakers and coordinating logistics for WWDPI's global webinar series. She also leads communication initiatives for the organization, from media relations to events which included a project related to whiplash prevention.
She has worked extensively in communications strategy, media relations and media production including ten years at Canadian Broadc asting Corporation as a TV producer, radio producer and researcher on dozens of current affairs programs, documentaries and information series, with numerous other organizations as content project manager and writer, and on other convergent media projects.
In addition to her work with Work Wellness and Disability Prevention Institute, she works as an independent contractor and consultant, including currently with Canadian Mental Health Association - BC [Vancouver-Fraser].
She is currently taking the Certificate in Knowledge Mobilization through Guelph University.
